POSITION DETAILS

Position: Regional Area Expert

Employment Location: Worldwide Opportunities

Responsibilities: Provide strategic counsel and analysis on issues related to politics, religion, culture and the economy in the area of expertise. Support global planning and evaluation requirements.

Qualifications: Intimate knowledge of history and current affairs in region of expertise. Significant professional experience working in the region required. Strong oral, written and cross-cultural communication skills with fluency in English and foreign language(s). Travel to third world, developing and hostile regions may be required. Advanced degree in international affairs, anthropology, political science, sociology or other related degree mandated. Current passport. Proficiency in Mac OS X Snow Leopard. Examples of research and personal references familiar with candidate’s international expertise required for interview.
