POSITION DETAILS

Position: Strategic Advisor

Employment Location: Worldwide Opportunities

Responsibilities: Provide strategic counsel in support of global planning and evaluation requirements related to political affairs, geo-political situations and U.S. foreign policy. Support strategic communication planning and red teaming efforts with recommend strategies and solutions to situations in which U.S. policies might be subject to misunderstanding or adverse reaction. Assist in the promotion of programs that contribute to the improvement of the U.S. image. Maintain contact with influential leaders and representatives of the media and press corps in the area of focus.

Qualifications: Possess significant experience as a strategic international advisor. Experience with planning, implementing or evaluating global strategic communication campaigns. Strong oral and written communication skills with broad regional and foreign language(s) expertise. Knowledgeable about issues related to politics, security, culture, religion, and economy in the area of focus. Travel to third world, developing and hostile regions may be required. An advanced degree in international relations, political science, economics or a related field. Current passport. Proficiency in Mac OS X Snow Leopard. Personal references familiar with candidate’s international expertise required for interview.
